Nature and purpose of the processing:

When you access our website, our provider collects general information (so-called server log files). The latter regularly include the operating system and web browser you use, your IP address and the domain name of your Internet service provider.

We never use your data to draw any conclusions about your person or your behaviour.

Legal basis of the processing:

Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving and maintaining the stability, security and functionality of our website.

Recipient:

Recipients of the data may be technical service providers who act as processors for the operation and maintenance of our website.

Storage period:

The data will be deleted when the purpose of the processing is fulfilled. This is usually the case for the data used to provide the website when your respective session has ended.

Provision prescribed or necessary:

You are not obliged to provide us with the aforementioned personal data. However, the use of our website is not possible without the transmission of your IP address.

 

2. Contact Form

Nature and purpose of the processing:

We provide you with a contact form to facilitate communication with us. Data entered by you will be used and stored for individual communication with you. Necessary information to answer your request are your e-mail address, the name of your company and your name. All other information is optional.

Legal basis of the processing:

The data entered in the contact form is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR) in providing an uncomplicated way of contacting you. The information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry and for possible follow-up questions.

If you contact us to request an offer, the data entered in the contact form will be processed for the purpose of implementing pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. GDPR).

Recipients of the data may be processors on our behalf.

Storage period:

Data will be deleted at the latest 6 months after processing of the request.

If it comes to a contractual relationship, we are partly obliged by law to store data (for example according to the German Commercial Code) after the expiration of these retention periods we delete your data.

3. Google Analytics

Nature and purpose of the processing:

This website uses Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. In order to protect your privacy, we have implemented a so-called anonymisation of your IP address on our website. This means that your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google is the recipient of the data as a so-called processor. We have concluded a corresponding contract with Google regarding data processing on behalf of Google.

Storage period:

Simpliant itself only receives an anonymous overview of the use, which does not allow any conclusion about your person. We have instructed Google to delete data on your servers within a period of 14 months.

Recipients in third countries:

Google processes your data in the USA. An adequate level of data protection is ensured by the fact that Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

Provision required or required:

The provision of your personal data is voluntary, based solely on your consent.

Withdrawal of consent:

You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: Browser Add On for deactivating Google Analytics.
